Meet the Annual Fund Challenge

Double the value of your gift to the Preservation Society this year.  We are thrilled to announce that a visionary group of Preservation Society supporters has created a $100,000 Annual Fund Challenge that counts in two ways. The Challenge will match gifts from donors who give at least the same amount they gave last year.  It will also match gifts from first-time Annual Fund donors, and from donors who did not give to the Annual Fund last year.

We hope you will all rise to the Challenge with a donation to the Preservation Society's Annual Fund.

The Gilded Age Revisited

In Spring 2009, the Preservation Society will introduce a new interpretation of The Breakers (1895), one of the nation’s greatest Gilded Age landmarks, with a new audio tour. Join our staff and invited experts throughout the year as they share years of research on The Breakers, which has resulted in a new view of this great house and its role as a landmark of a critical period in American history and design.
